The natural version has a strange clear pickguard. The one I tested had the natural Satin finish and it is super mapley. These guitars also featured thin Satin nitro finishes. Gibson now has a seemingly standard series called the Raw Power series now. They opted for a Maple construction in lieu of the traditional Mahogany and Rosewood used in SG's and Les Pauls. The Raw Power series from Gibson offered something different than you'd come to expect from Gibson guitars.
